The Basics Bookshelf, designed to help beginning English language learners, may be used with High Point The Basics or as its own library collection of 18 read-aloud books in a class with beginning English language learners. These 18 read-aloud books build basic vocabulary, language patterns, and comprehension skills. The books are available with corresponding CDs or tapes. A Teacher’s Guide accompanies the collection.
